Chinese Students

As part of the effort to strengthen relations between Italy and China, the Marco Polo Program was created (planned and developed by CRUI upon request of the President of Italy) to increase the presence of Chinese students in Italian Universities.

Chinese students can pre-enrol in a Degree Course at the University of Pavia and participate in a six-month propedeutic course in Italian language organised by the University of Pavia.

The University of Pavia has organized three six-month propedeutic course in Italian language (March-September 2007,2008, 2009).
The course allows the Chinese students to acquire sufficient cultural and linguistic competence in order to follow regular university courses.
