Laurea Magistralis (Master Degree) in Molecular Biology  and Genetics


This 2-year second level degree (Biology class) is an intensive, full-time graduate programme entirely taught in English and designed for graduates at the BA level who are seeking a qualification in advanced areas of Biology, with special attention to Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Biochemistry. Graduates will acquire a strong theoretical and methodological background relevant to both basic and applied aspects of these disciplines.
The Course is organized in two Curricula: 1) Cellular and Molecular Biology and 2) Plant Molecular Biology. Both Curricula provide a common background in Bioinformatics, Methods in Biochemistry, Advanced Molecular Biology, Structural Biology and Pharmacology, and Molecular Microbiology.


Laurea Magistralis (Master Degree) in International Business and Economics


Starting from the academic year 2009/2010 the Faculty of Economics  of the University of Pavia will offer a new Laurea Magistralis Programme (substantially equivalent to an M.Phil. degree) in International Business and Economics.
This 2-year second level degree is an intensive, full-time gra- duate programme entirely taught in English. The course possesses all the features of a solidly founded international academic proposal addressed to students who are seeking an international qualification in the areas of International Business & Management or in Advanced Economics with a strong theoretical and practical background in their respective fields of study. The course is organized in two curricula:


Laurea Magistralis (Master Degree) in Medicine and Surgery


The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery offers a duplicate Course of Medicine and Surgery entirely taught in English.  The single cycle 6-years Course is organized in 360 credits divided in semesters with frontal lessons, laboratory, exercises, practices and training; at least 60 credits will be acquired in training activities aimed at the development of specific professional skills.  Graduates will acquire strong scientific basis, methodological approach and practical experience in order to make responsible decisions on patient health.
