SERVICES FOR ERASMUS STUDENTS
Pavia is a University town. Students from all over Italy, Europe and outside Europe come every year to study in this charming medieval town and its University, believed to be one of the oldest in Europe. Finding accommodation for everyone is not easy, helping students integrate in a new place is not easy, but Centro Assistenza Studenti has become a reference point for every student who is looking at studying and living in Pavia.
In 1996 the University of Pavia appointed Centro Assistenza Studenti as the accommodation office for foreign students taking part to exchange programs within the European Union. Since then Centro Assistenza Studenti has welcomed and accommodated hundreds of Erasmus students from all over Europe.
If you are an Erasmus student and are planning to spend the next Academic year at the University of Pavia, read these pages carefully; you will find some useful information on the types of accommodation available for students in this University town, and on how to apply for a room. You will also have the opportunity to satisfy your curiosity about what to expect once you are here.
The Erasmus Program is not just a study experience but also a life experience. Once in Pavia you will have a chance to live as any other Italian student, to get to know our country and, hopefully, love it. It is up to you to get the most out of this year: be open-minded and willing to learn as much as you can!
